LARGE-SCALE GLAZING
The demand for continuous glazing from ceiling to floor is growing. This is due to the increased surface area and, consequently, the weight of insulating glass units, which, in turn, increases the requirements for the static reinforcement of profile systems.
WDS 76 system profiles, which feature larger reinforcement chambers, allow for the use of stronger reinforcement and improve the static performance of the structure by 30–55% at the same reinforcement cost, will help solve this problem.

Features of the WDS 76 MD
- Maximum energy saving
- Six-chamber frame
- Maximum sound insulation
- Maximum tightness
- Maximum safety and reliability
- 6 air chambers in the frame and sashes for better thermal insulation
- 48 mm glass unit with the possibility of installing architectural glass or triplex
- The built-in third-circuit seal reliably protects against blowing, dust and dirt.

Breathability:
Moisture permeability::
The main difference between the WDS 76 MD and WDS 76 AD is the number of air chambers (6 vs. 5) and the number of sealing contours (3 vs. 2), respectively. This makes the WDS 76 MD a more technologically advanced system with superior thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as improved strength thanks to its closed-loop reinforcement. The WDS 76 AD is a simpler and more affordable system, while the WDS 76 MD offers higher energy efficiency and better draft protection.
Number of chambers:
The WDS 76 MD has 6 chambers, while the WDS 76 AD has 5 chambers. The higher number of chambers in the WDS 76 MD improves thermal and acoustic insulation.
Sealing contours:
The WDS 76 MD uses 3 sealing contours, providing better airtightness and draft protection, compared to the 2 contours of the WDS 76 AD. Reinforcement:
WDS 76 MD features closed-loop reinforcement, which significantly increases the strength of large structures. WDS 76 AD uses standard reinforcement.
Energy Efficiency and Soundproofing:
WDS 76 MD has a lower U-value, making it the best choice for passive houses and modern new buildings. Both systems support thick insulating glass units, but 76 MD achieves a higher level of soundproofing.
Cost and Purpose:
WDS 76 MD is a more expensive and technologically advanced system, while WDS 76 AD is a more affordable option.
